I use to scrap these for the metal as thought there would be no demand but now I have sold a few where a machine had had a very serious drop or prang etc thats dented the metal which has to be exactly flat for the machine to run

tested fine really nice capacitor

they can become worn over time causing a groove which can and does damage the tape

They are MASSIVE

I have seen from a customer that on some they had like a rubber belt around the VU meter maybe to protect the meter
